Rutabaga French fries
I grow a lot of root vegetables here at home, and my best tip is to use them instead of potatoes in your favorite dishes. This time, I'm making rutabaga French fries!
- bell pepper powder or some other seasoning you like
- salt and pepper
- potato flour
One of my readers, Helene Beckman, sent me this recipe. She writes: I managed to grow way too much rutabaga again and I didn't know what to do with it all. We had guests recently and I decided to make rutabaga French fries. It turned out great!
Slice the rutabaga.
Season with red bell pepper powder.
Add salt and pepper.
Add potato flour and spread it out over the fries.
Roast in the oven at 480 degrees (250 degrees Celsius).
Serve with a nice sauce, for example, a squash dip.
