Stir-fried spinach with garlic
Less is more! I often think about this saying in the kitchen. Especially when I cook my fresh homegrown vegetables. They don't need that much attention to shine!
- olive oil
Stir-fried spinach is the perfect side to a grilled cheese sandwich, baked fish or lamb mince meat balls.
Heat a splash of olive oil in a pan. Add fresh spinach leaves and sliced garlic. Fry it quickly. You can cut the leaves into smaller pieces if they are too large. Keep stirring the leaves as you fry them. Add a little bit of lemon on top as soon as the spinach leaves start to cook. Season with sea salt.
